A Little Update

First of all, I am still alive--and kicking, although not quite as high as I used to.

I've been doing a bit of sewing. I finished two UFOs and did some minor stitching so the garments could go in my bedroom closet and out of the sewing room closet. There isn't anything exciting enough to take pics of, but just wanted to mention that there is some progress.

Right now I am knitting and crocheting some potholders and dishcloths as I do need those.

Oh, so good to hear from you. I've not been blogging as much either as I've had computer problems, developed new interests and been just plain busy.

Do post pictures of your potholders when you have a chance.

Pics! Pics or it didn't happen! ;-) Two UFOs down is a pretty good start, glad to hear the mojo is sticking around this time.

Joansie, always nice to hear from you. When I get more potholders and discloths done, I could post some pics.

dfr, "Pics or it didn't happen!" You talking about me or bin Laden? LOL.

I'm still feeling the desire to sew and I will tie down mojo so it stays, and if I have to, I will steal, I mean borrow, more from you.

I am craving a quilt. Just a simple patchwork quilt. And patchwork pillows to match. For my white sofa.

Here's to progress! (the beneficial kind, of course.....)

Hi, poplin! Sorry, can't help you---I don't do quilts. But I do wish you luck getting yours done.

Yes, Jilly, let's clink our glasses to the good kind of progress.

However, I am still waiting for the 4 comments to reappear that were here before Blogger encountered problems while attempting routine maintenance.

Well, darn Blogger...they chewed up my comment so here I am happily returning to comment. I miss you when you don't blog for awhile.

Ok, show us pics of your sewing with the next post.

Thanks, Joansie, for re-posting. I found a location at Blogger to let them know what comments are missing, so we'll see what happens with that.

Haha. The reason I posted this entry is because it had been many weeks since I had previously posted. I just picked an unfortunate time to do it.

Wow--I came here to post an entry entitled, Day Late and a Dollar Short. I had told several about the form to fill out if posts or comments were still missing. Did I do it when I saw it? No, I don't like to rush things or people. Last night the form was gone!

In the last few hours the four missing comments have reappeared. Yay!

All of a sudden my followers have disappeared too....guess it was just a matter of time before I got hit!

I'm just testing to see if I can post...as me..... Hope this is all solved soon!

This is the second problem Blogger has had this month. It took about 10 days for them to put up the 4 commments they "lost". Now this. Some can post and some can't. Some lost their Followers and some didn't. Sigh.

OK, now here's the funny part: I can't even post on my own blog except as Anonymous. LOL.

---glorm trying to post as self on my own blog.

It looks like blogspot might have stabilized back to normal now...are you yourself yet? Have you cleared your cache?

Jillybejoyful said...

ruh roh....I may have spoken too soon. Your followers were there when I started writing the above post, and now they're gone :(

glorm said...

A test. I did clear the cache, a few times. Gonna try the signin again and see what happens, but this time uncheck the Keep me signed in box. Since I am already signed in this shouldn't sign me out. Ugh, what a mess. It would be really nice if Google would at least post an update for the problem. Here goes....

LABELS: The Finishing Touch for Sewn Garments

I've been using labels in my sewn garments for decades, but some don't.  Here are some pics of ones I have. The quality went down so...
